To my brave mom

My mom, is not a spring chicken (sorry mom). She had knee replacement surgery last Friday and I just wanted to blog and tell my mom I think she is awesome. It's such a brave thing to do when you are not a uh, spring chicken. Especially for someone that has been lucky enough to avoid overnight hospital stays (besides all the babies she had) in her years. For those of you that don't know my parents.. I am a lucky lucky girl! I'm including one of my favorite pictures from our family reunion last summer. It is my sisters and I and my mom and dad. This picture is priceless to me. It says it all. Cynthia is giving Laura a wedgie, yes you read right, a wedgie and my parents are looking at each other like people do when they have been married 53 years! Love you mom! Way to go!
