So, the doorbell rang and my back neighbor, who I do not know, has come over to tell me that a huge swarm of bees have just taken up residence on my little tree. So I peak outside and see this...
(Sorry for the glare but I was not about to go outside)

So, what do you do when a swarm of bees land in your back yard? And there have been reports of African bees in your part of the state...Well, I called the fire department. No not 9-1-1. Just the fire department. I was on hold for about 12 minutes but the dispatcher sent the firetruck, the firemen and they called animal control... who happened to also be a BEEKEEPER. What luck! So he came and took most of the bee's with him. While me, the kids AND the firemen, stayed safely in the house! Thank you Mr. Beekeeper!

It was all rather exciting.
Oh and by the way, did you know that a little dish soap and water in your squirt bottle will kill bees! Now you know!
