Christmas shows

It seems I am always catching up instead of staying on top of my blog posts!
Well, I have to start with my great kids. Brayden auditioned and got picked to be Bob Humbug in the 2nd grade Christmas program. He was so excited and practiced his song and lines so he would be ready. He got to perform twice. Once for all the school kids and the next day for the parents. He did so GREAT! I was so proud of him. If you know Brayden...he did great getting into his part.

We recorded the whole program and his solo, but I don't know how to post it. So sorry, I guess you had to be there!
Karly has been taking violin since school started. She, I me we, get up every school morning at 6:30 (me at 6:15) to get her to violin by 7:00. She gets home about 7:50 and then two days of the week she heads to choir practice at school. It keeps our mornings busy and she is having a great time! Plus, her BFF is in violin and choir and they are in the same school class. BoNuS! Everything is more fun with a friend!
They had their violin recital and did a great job! I think she has a new love of music.

They memorized a song so they stood up front to play the song. Yes, Karly and Rachel have a big height difference- it was not a sloped floor.

This is Karly and Rachel with their 4th grade teacher, Mr. Smith. He came to see their concert. What a great guy!
