Essay Winner

Karly entered into the Sons of the Utah Pioneers essay contest. She had to write an essay about one of her ancestors. So we got out a history book about John Neff and she read it and she wrote an essay about him. Karly loved learning about him and she likes to be involved. So a month or so later I found out that she was going to get an award at the Awards Assembly at school and her essay had been picked as one of the winners at the school! Yeah KaRLy! She got ten dollars in gold coins too! Here are the pictures of her being called up and then lined up with the other winners and the representatives from the Sons of the Utah Pioneers.

The funny thing about this picture is that they were lined up alphabetically and it ended up being shortest to tallest too!
