Jackson didn't get teeth until he was one so it is no surprise that he just started losing them. His permanent tooth was already coming in behind the baby tooth so we (Mike) convinced him it was time to get the loose tooth out. In all the anxiety and anticipation of having it pulled out... he ended up inhaling.. which made him swallow it. He was so sad he had swallowed it and we told him the tooth fairy probably wouldn't come until it came out.... and he had to find it...
Well, the tooth fairy did come that night since Jackson wrote a note explaining what happened. We didn't get a picture that night sans the red teary eyes and grumpy demeanor. So these pictures are from the tooth he lost a couple of days later. A much better experience and it was put safely under the pillow.
Only 18 more to go! Oh and we didn't make him find the one he swallowed. But he kept an eye out:)
