Gingerbread.. I mean graham cracker houses

This year I decided to make each of the kids their own house to decorate. Except Bryson, he didn't care. He just wanted the candy. So Karly designed her house and then Brayden wanted a train and Jackson just got what he got. I made Karly and Brayden's days before we decorated and I used a glue gun to put them together. Cheating I know but... Then we decorated them on Friday night. The kitchen was a disaster and I was having to really concentrate to not add my own ideas to the kids creations. But then I would take a step back and remind myself that this is supposed to be fun. And the kids were loving it. And every mess can be cleaned up. I hope that the memories they have will be sweet ones, espcially because of all the candy they ate. I was fully expecting one of them to wake up in the night, throwing up because they ate so much sugar. But lucky us, we all just had a sugar headache the next day. It was fun and they are all very proud of their creations! Good job kids!

Karly made a dog for her doghouse. She couldn't get him to stand up so he is laying on his back making a dog angel.

Brayden's train and snowman. You can't see it but he has an engineer or conductor or driver, whatever they are called in the train. His snowman had a toothpick up his backside to try and keep him up. Doesn't look like it's working does it?

This is Jackson's house. He was so excited to make his. Can you tell I helped?
