One of the best things about Karly's birthday
So, having your birthday on the 3rd of July, can present it's own challenges. Most people are out of town (birthday party stress)and it's hotter than an oven; BUT you do get to legally do fireworks. The Paynes were in town and came to celebrate with us! 
So next year, on Independence day, when you are doing fireworks, you can remember that it was Karly's birthday...the day before!
