We got on a kick when the first signs of fall hit and we were just antsy pantsy to go up the canyon to check out the leaves. We went up and hiked one Sunday with all of us and then Mike left on a long trip so Leslie and I decided to take the kids up and hike up to Donut Falls and have a little hot dog roast afterwards. Well, we didn't quite go on the right trail and we hiked a good bit before we decided to turn around. We did find the right trail on our way down and decided we would have to do it another time. So during our hot dog roast we conjured up a plan to come up the canyon again and go camping. We had a great time-we got our camp spot, put up the tent, and headed up to conquer Donut Falls. We had a great time even though the temperatures hit close to freezing during the night! We just burrowed in and prayed for morning! It
was a GrEaT time and I'm so glad we have Leslie to party with!
