Summer Hiking

We had lots of fun exploring some new and old hiking spots this summer.  It made us feel at home to set off into the woods. Elisha introduced us to Cecret Lake and it was so pretty that we had to take Mike and Leslie up too. The wildflowers were in full bloom and it was so beautiful. The kids even hiked up to the last remaining snow.  Of course we did the Silver Lake (which is more like a walk than a hike), we hiked up to "the Property" in Big Cottonwood and Donut Falls (twice, kindof).  I don't have pictures of all of them but here are a few.

In Big Cottonwood at Silver Lake.

Karly on the lounge rock.

At Cecret Lake in Little Cottonwood.

Off course they had to climb up on the big rocks.
Made it to the snow

Now, trying to get down.

Dad always makes everything look easy!

We loved hiking with you this summer and will have to do it again next summer. Maybe we can find a few more new trails to try out!
